Dana Dunphy is the Unit Chair with Unifor Local 444 at Caesars Windsor Casino. Dana began working at the casino in Windsor, ON, in 1994, where she has been a transportation cashier, casino cashier and casino banker.
Her work with the union began in 1998 when she was elected as a committee representative. From 1998 to 2010, Dana was a member at large on the Local 444 Executive Board. She was elected Unit Chair in 2013. She also serves on the local’s Women’s Committee and Recreation Committee, and is Vice Chair of the Education Committee.
Dana got involved with the union shortly after her bargaining unit was certified because she could not ignore the injustices and unfair treatment happening to her co-workers.
Dana is married to Stephanie Brown. She has two step-sons.
